Affiliate disclosure

How DfHV can earn referral revenue without allowing compensation to rewrite a fit result.

The plain-language disclosure

What compensation does not change

A commission does not change anthropometric inputs, product dimensions, fit margins, model outputs, letter-grade thresholds, configuration recommendations, or catalog ordering. Matthew Parkinson develops both DfHV and Fit Grades; we do not describe the relationship between them as independent editorial review.

How paid links are labeled

A compensated link will be labeled near the recommendation as an affiliate or referral link, with a short statement that DfHV may earn a commission. “Buy now” or a link icon alone is not treated as adequate disclosure. Links that currently go only to a manufacturer for documentation are identified as manufacturer links.

Product scope

A strong grade is not a recommendation on price, durability, sustainability, service, aesthetics, or subjective comfort. It means only that the published configuration performed well on the dimensions explicitly listed as scored. Missing dimensions remain visible.
