Terms of use

The boundaries around an estimate designed to support—not replace—judgment, product documentation, and a real fit trial.

Using the service

By using Fit Grades, you agree to these terms. The service is designed for adults and uses adult population models (age 20+). You must use the service lawfully and provide inputs you are authorized to use.

Estimates, not guarantees

A fit grade is a probabilistic estimate based on the inputs you provide, population models, published product dimensions, and explicit fit rules. It is not a measurement of your body, a guarantee of comfort or compatibility, medical advice, an accessibility determination, a product endorsement, or a safety certification. Products, configurations, and dimensions change. Verify current manufacturer information and try a product when practical.

Acceptable use and model protection

You may use the public interface for personal and ordinary professional evaluation. You may not:

Intellectual property

DfHV owns or licenses the site design, copy, software, model artifacts, scoring methods, illustrations, and compilations, except for third-party names, trademarks, specifications, and linked materials. A limited, revocable right to use the public service does not transfer any intellectual-property right.

Third-party products and referral links

Product names and specifications belong to their respective owners. Links lead to sites we do not control. Some links may generate a commission for DfHV at no additional cost to you; compensation does not change the model’s rules or grades. See the affiliate disclosure.

Availability and changes

We may correct data, update models, change or discontinue features, limit abusive use, or suspend access. Results may change when the anthropometric model, product record, or fit-rule version changes.

Disclaimer and limitation

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” to the extent permitted by law. DfHV disclaims warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the extent permitted by law, DfHV is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from use of the service or a product decision. Rights that cannot legally be disclaimed remain unaffected.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Rights and protections that applicable law does not allow these terms to limit remain unaffected.
